I live in Marion, but I hail from eastern Connecticut. I had a 20+ year career in banking, and I knew I needed a big change. It took me a whole year to pinpoint what my new adventure would be. Since I had a true passion for skincare and makeup, I had more trade magazines on beauty than finance. So, I decided to become an Aesthetician. In 2007, I enrolled in and graduated from Brio Academy of Cosmetology in Niantic, CT. I worked for a dermatologist, a high-end corporate spa, and I was the owner and sole technician of The Good Face Place.

After relocating to MA, I soon learned that my education credentials from CT would not be accepted for licensure in Massachusetts. So, I enrolled in the Aesthetics program at Spa Tech Institute in Plymouth and started my skincare career over again! I have taken countless advanced skincare classes over the years in makeup, various advanced skincare modalities (Microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser, etc.), and facial massage. My education has taken me to Boston, New York City, Dallas, Texas, and beyond. Recently, I have become certified in Reflexology.

My best friend is a mixed-breed rescue named Bo, and his best friend is Calvin, our little black cat. Yes, they play together all day long!
